Are you a Reiki Master Teacher? Where did you study?
 |
In 1996 I completed my Usui Shiki Ryoho teacher training program from the DoveStar Institute of Holistic Technologies. I studied with Kamala St. Germain, Karyl Sheridan, Sharon Henderson, Saryna Champagne and Donna Brown. All are DoveStar instructors and also business owners of varying healing art disciplines. DoveStar Institute, Hooksett N.H. was founded in 1973. the institute offers a Reiki Alchemia program that expands from the Usui principles to other Oriental, Ayurvedic and Middle Eastern practices.

| After a two year private practice in Newburyport, I was intuitively called upon to explore other avenues of energy modalities. What I have come to call S.R.H. (Sympathetic Resonance Healing), S.R.H. is the understanding that when an individual cultivates a specific practice of present moment awareness, that person will be able to orchestrate what Science has named Schumann Resonances. Schumann Resonances are specific frequencies that are relative to Earth's "song". When focused upon these songs become predominant in our own energy fields, which we then orchestrate through a laying of hands session on a client. Our hands then transfer that "song" to the receiver, the receivers energy field picks up the "song" and begins to increase in amplitude and resonate or "sympathize" to that "song". |

Model: Sympathetic Resonance |
In fall of 1999 I had the opportunity to study with Linda White Dove at the Theosophical society in Arlington M.A. by winter of 2000 I completed her teacher training program in Shamballa healing. This research led to the return to DoveStar and began teaching in Hooksett N.H. and Carver M.A. Shamballa, Alchemia Lightwork and Synergy of Music. All three classes represent my research and independant study in the field of energy medicine. Shamballa represents the moment when we personalize the experience, make it our own system of healing that we share with all of our relationships. |

2003 was a transformative year. In February I visited my father and his family in Costa Rica. I had the opportunity to work with Native Costa Ricans and study with several elders of energy medicine. On the 22nd I had the honor of sharing and attuning an entire village of my father's wifes family. Three hours later the sessions had come to a close with an elderly man who was shaking from his arms to his feet, he had been observing what I was doing the entire afternoon. He slowly approached and sat in the chair in front of me. I closed my eyes and began the attunement process. When the session was complete he noticed his body had stopped shaking. He looked up at me with tear filled eyes and said "Cuanto?" As the tears were streaming down my face I replied "Nada", I kneeled down and kissed his hands. It was in that moment I was given a symbol that remained in my mind until I could draw it down. The symbol as I have come to understand it is called the Costa Rica Gateway Key.

To this day this symbol represents that moment in time in Costa Rica. It resides on my research site Sciences of Spirituality. The symbol continues to reveal itself the more I work with it. It is divided equally into four quadrants, then sudivided by 12 octaves. The colored hemispheres can represent yin/yang or conscious/subconscious principles. To me it is a gateway to understand the principles of wavelength and it's relativity to light and sound. Much like how ripples of water intersect with one another to how thought patterns influence ourselves. |
In December of 2003 I left Newburyport to teach at Hilton Head Island and Savannah GA. DoveStar locations. I also had the opportunity to teach massage and anatomy and physiology at South Carolina Massage & Esthetics Institute located in Bluffton SC. My research continued and founded Hilton Head Reiki and practitioners network. In 3 months of my arrival to the island is when my research began to expand and evolve. I had the honor of studying with descendants of Lakota and Cherokee nations. One of the Lakota community members was enrolled in a class I was teaching. Keith and I had an immediate connection we couldn't stop smiling at each other! Two weeks after that magical weekend I attended my first Lakota sweat lodge ceremony. March 13th, 2004 at 7PM was my awakening to an amazing world of healing and transformation. For the next 3 years I regularlly attended sweatlodge ceremonies, and continued to expand beyond any point of consciousness that I could have done with Reiki or Shamballa alone. One evening after a lodge ceremony I had the honor of attuning the entire community to Shamballa Reiki. I was completely immersed in the medicine of the community, the spirit animals that I felt and observed around us was amazingly beautful. A memory I will never forget when the Elder looked upon my work with a skeptical eye, I place my arm around him and said "you already know this". He gently smiled and allowed me such a blessing to share in that way, too powerful for words to even attempt to describe...
In June of 2004 I was invited to attend Sundance ceremony held in Hartsel Colorado. If there ever was a time filled with wonderment and experience this was it. To be a part of such an ancient ceremony was an honor that I humbly accepted with grace and gratitude for this was the answer I was seeking. For three years I had the opportunity to experience a root from the Sacred Tree of energy healing modalities. I am again looking forward to continuing that journey to Colorado this summer with my wife.
When I am asked if I am a Reiki Master Teacher, I explain the only masters I have met are under the age of 10 or over the age of 80!
Currently my research is in Europe studying the Czech culture and the integration of Gnosis in their practice of energy medicine.
The journey continues...
